What does it mean to adopt a horse?
When you adopt a horse, you are supporting it financially. You are helping to provide it's food and health care.
Do I actually get to own and keep the horse?
No, you don't actually get to own the horse, you are only supporting it. You are covering the cost of keeping a horse, but all rights to ownership still belong to Echo Ranch Bible Camp.
Can I visit my horse?You can schedule a time to visit by contacting us. Please be sure to contact us in advance to ensure that a wrangler would be available accompany you.Can I ride my horse?When you come out to visit your horse, we can take you and your family on a trail ride. Please let us know in the email if you are interested in riding or just visiting. Also, if your horse is a foal, or cannot be ridden for some reason, we will let you know.Are there any other benefits to sponsoring/adopting a horse?Yes. Quarterly, you will receive an update and a picture of your horse in the mail. Chances are, if your sponsoring a horse it's because you love that horse and want it to get the best care possible. We give them plenty of love and attention, but maybe there's something special that you would like us to do for your horse. Once a month, we will pamper your horse by doing one of the following: An extra 15 minutes of brushing, an extra handful of grain, or an additional 15 minutes of working with/riding your horse. It's your choice!
